President Donald Trump warned North Korea Tuesday that it “best not make any more threats against the United States” or it will “be met with fire and fury unlike the world has ever seen.”
Trump offered a brief statement to the press at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, where he is currently on a 17-day working vacation while the White House undergoes renovations.
“(Dictator Kim Jong Un) has been very threatening beyond a normal state, and as I said, they will be met with the fire and fury and frankly power, the likes of which this world has never seen before.” Trump said.
Trump’s statement follows a report from The Washington Post Tuesday citing a leaked U.S. intelligence report indicating that North Korea more than likely has 60 nuclear warheads small enough to fit on intercontinental ballistic missiles.
