Teachers ‘shouldn’t call girls girls because it will remind them that they’re girls’

More utter madness in Britain’s education sector.

postthumbnailTeachers should never call girls girls because it will remind them of the fact that they’re girls, the government’s former mental health tsar has said.

Natasha Devon said: “I don’t think it is useful to be constantly reminded of your gender all the time and all the stereotypes that go with it.”

But surely this is patronising to all the girls and women who are proud to be female and actually find it empowering?

But she’s not simply reserved her idiocy for girls, no, she thinks boys should be gender neutral as well.

She added: “I think actually in some ways boys are more constrained by the expectation of their gender,” she said. “And whilst that is being challenged and changed I don’t think it’s helpful to keep saying ‘girls, girls, girls, boys, boys, boys’, because there is so much implication that potentially goes with that.”

So, in order to cater for a fraction of society, a very small minority of people, who suffer from gender dysphoria teachers should now work towards creating one giant androgynous classroom where nobody is any gender whatsoever?…
