De omstreden islamitische middelbare school van Stichting Islamitisch Onderwijs (SIO) moet gewoon open, volgens de uitspraak van de Raad van State. Staatssecretaris Sander Dekker van Onderwijs wilde vestiging van de school juist voorkomen, omdat hij vreesde dat de radicale school kinderen van de maatschappij afkeert.
De radicaal Abdou Khoulani zat er in de raad van bestuur, hij steunde openlijk ISIS en heeft een flink dossier aan misdragingen en radicalisme. Eerder deze maand was de school nog in het nieuws omdat de oprichter leerlingen ronselt met gratis laptop of fiets.
