Londres: Cinq personnes blessées dans une attaque à l’acide

Panique dans l’est de Londres. Au moins six personnes ont été blessées samedi dans une attaque à l’acide dans la capitale britannique, ont annoncé les urgences médicales et la police qui a arrêté un suspect et écarte la piste terroriste.

Les forces de l’ordre ont été appelées vers 20h (21h, heure française) au Stratford Centre, un centre commercial proche du stade olympique de Londres, après qu’on leur eut signalé qu’un groupe d’hommes jeunes répandait une « substance nocive ».

Sur Twitter, les urgences médicales du London Ambulance Service ont dit traiter « six patients ». De son côté, la police a annoncé l’arrestation d’un homme. Le nombre d’attaques à l’acide a fortement augmenté ces derniers mois…

Bei einem mutmaßlichen Gift-Anschlag sind am Samstagabend in London mindestens sechs Menschen verletzt worden.

Mindestens sechs Menschen sind am Abend in einem Einkaufszentrum im Osten Londons verletzt worden, als sie von Unbekannten mit einer möglicherweise giftigen Substanz besprüht wurden. Einer der Täter sei kurz darauf festgenommen worden, teilte Scotland Yard mit. Feuerwehr und Rettungskräfte kümmerten sich vor Ort um die Verletzten im Westfield Shopping Centre in Stratford.

Laut Medienberichten hatten mehrere Personen eine „schädliche Substanz“ an der U-Bahn-Station Stratford versprüht. Auch in einem Einkaufszentrum soll die Substanz zuvor von einer Gruppe versprüht worden sein.

15-year-old arrested after Stratford ‘acid attack’

A 15-year-old boy has been arrested following a suspected acid attack at a busy London shopping centre.

Six people were injured after a noxious substance was thrown during the incident at the Stratford Centre on Saturday evening.

Three of the victims needed hospital treatment after they were hit with the substance during an “altercation” between two groups of males.

Horrified onlookers reported scenes of panic in the aftermath of the incident which was first feared to be a series of random attacks.

One witness described seeing a young male victim screaming in pain as his friends shouted “it is an acid attack, he is burning”, while others rushed to wash the substance from their skin…
