Norway’s Progress Party (FrP), which is one of two government parties, takes the credit for less crime in the country

The Progress Party can rightfully take the credit for the number of crimes in Oslo plunging, as the party holds the posts of both the Minister of Justice and the Immigration Minister, and in addition it has the strictest immigration policies of all the established parties.

FrP: We did thisThe Progress Party’s justice policy spokesman, Ulf Isak Leirstein (pictured), told Dagbladet that this significant drop in reported crime is partly because they have deported nearly 10,000 criminal immigrants under the current government.

Last year had the lowest number of reported crimes in Oslo in 14 years.

Police in Oslo, however, say they can not verify a connection between the decrease in crime and the many deportations.

But to anyone with a functioning braincell it is pretty obvious despite the official statistics lacking: 10,000 criminals are deported – crime drops significantly. It’s not rocket science.

In fact, in Norway, as in the rest of Scandinavia, immigrants or people with immigrant backgrounds, are grossly overrepresented in criminal cases…
