De vloek van de VVD lijkt niet op te houden. VVD’ers Jos van Rey, Ard van der Steur en Henry Keizer moesten al eerder de gevolgen van hun grove misstappen ondergaan, en daar bleef het niet bij. Sterker nog: de VVD is al vijf jaar lang dé partij met de meeste integriteitsschandalen. Die positie gaan ze dit jaar ook wel halen met de nieuwste megablunder van Klaas Dijkhoff, die nog steeds (demissionair) staatssecretaris van Veiligheid & Justitie is. Hij is in die post verantwoordelijk voor het veilig houden van Nederland, waarbij je zou denken dat één van de grootste bedreiging voor die veiligheid hoog op de agenda staan bij hem: de migrantencrisis…
