Meanwhile, Hundreds of Palestinians took part in riots throughout the West Bank, while the relative calm in the Temple Mount compound was maintained from noon, after prayers in the holy place that has been the focus of tensions for the past two weeks ended.
The Red Crescent reported that its staff treated some 25 Palestinians in various disturbances, including in Hebron, Rachel’s Tomb, Nablus, Tulkarem and Qalandiya, where a soldier was lightly wounded by stones.
