Wegen der Ramadan-Feiertage kehren Syrer aus der Türkei in ihre Heimat zurück. Sie wollen Verwandte im Kriegsland besuchen.
Anlässlich der bevorstehenden Ramadan-Feiertage sind tausende syrische Flüchtlinge in der Türkei zum Verwandtenbesuch in ihr Heimatland zurückgekehrt.
Vor dem Grenzübergang Öncüpinar in der Provinz Kilis bildete sich eine lange Schlange. Das Fest des Fastenbrechens markiert das Ende des Fastenmonats Ramadan und dauert in der Türkei von Sonntag bis einschließlich Dienstag.
Die Grenzen der Türkei zu Syrien sind generell geschlossen. Der Gouverneur in der Stadt Kilis hatte den vorübergehenden Grenzübertritt jedoch anlässlich des Ramadans erlaubt.
