Despite the sameness of the recent vehicular jihad attacks in Nice, Berlin, Ohio, etc. and the Islamic State urging Muslims across the West to wage jihad using their cars, I did not jump to any conclusions when a vicious murderer ran down scores of people in Times Square this week, killing an 18-year-old girl, Alyssa Elsman, and injuring dozens.
Law enforcement immediately said that it was not terror, which is what they always say when it is terror. Remember Mayor “Red” Bill de Blasio went to the scene of Chelsea jihad bombing in NYC and emphatically declared that it wasn’t Islamic terror when it was?
They said he was drunk. Then they said he wasn’t drunk.
News reports said the driver was fleeing a robbery and ran down pedestrians in his mad rush to escape. But if you watch the video, and I strongly recommend you watch it, this is clearly not the case.
Now the NY Times is saying the driver is “mentally ill.” Where have we heard that before?
The driver is slowly, methodically driving the car in the left hand lane when suddenly, violently, he swerves and makes a radical turn right, deliberately plowing into scores of human beings…
