Pakistan: Muslims torture Christian man with hot iron rods for “befriending” Muslim woman

“O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as friends. They are friends of one another. And whoever is a friend to them among you, then indeed, he is of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people.” (Qur’an 5:51)

And not only that: Muslim women are forbidden in Islamic law to marry non-Muslim men. So the Muslims who tortured this Christian man believed they were doing the righteous thing before Allah.

LAHORE: A 21-year-old Christian man was allegedly assaulted and burnt with hot iron rods by the family of a Muslim woman for ‘befriending’ her in Pakistan’s Punjab province, according to a media report.
