Thousands of jihadists in UK, security services struggling

Jihadi threat is large and increasing. The huge scale of Islamic extremism now rife in Britain is stretching the country’s world class security services to breaking point.

Britain’s jihadi watchlist of the most dangerous individuals is now 3,000 strong, including hundreds of battle-hardened Islamic State extremists who have been to Syria and allowed to return. This is only the tip of the iceberg though.

Experts such as Anthony Glees have predicted that once you take into account jihadis that the security services aren’t aware of, the numbers in the country could be more like 10,000.

The Westminster killer Khalid Masood for example wasn’t even on the list of top 3,000 potentially most dangerous jihadi terrorists.

Britain’s security services have prevented at least 13 attacks in the last 4 years…
