The vast majority of Italians are feeling as though their country has been left to suffer by so-called ‘EU allies’.
That’s according to Reuters who reported on a poll by Ixe that showed 78% of Italians felt abandoned as the migrant crisis goes from bad to worse.
It is thought that over 86,000 migrants have arrived in Italy via boat this year and with the situation spiralling out of control, the Italian authorities have threatened to allow the migrants to travel on elsewhere across the EU.
